Dickinson College BASEBALL CAMPS

Position Player Camp

The Dickinson College Baseball Position Player Camp will allow prospective student athletes to work with the Dickinson College Baseball Staff and Players to develop their skills offensively and defensively.

Camp registration will commence at 10 AM and run until 11 AM at the Durden Center/Biddle Field Athletic campus of Dickinson College. The camp will begin with a tour of the historic campus of Dickinson College. Parents are encouraged to join the campers on the tour.

The baseball component of the camp will begin at Biddle Field following the tour of Dickinson College. Campers will warm up under the leadership of Dickinson College Strength and Conditioning Coach Mike Myers. Following the warm-up, campers will undergo metric testing in the 10-yard dash, 60-yard dash, outfield throwing velocities, infield throwing velocities, catcher throwing velocities, and catcher pop times. These metrics will be tracked and shared with the campers following the camp.

Once the metric testing at Biddle Field is complete, the camp will move down the street to the Hare Indoor Training Facility at Dickinson Park. At the Hare Indoor Training Facility, campers will go through hitting circuits and testing using Driveline Training Bats, Hack Attack Pitching Machines, Tee Work, Batting Practice, and Hit Trax technology. Campers will also get a tour of the Hare Indoor Training Facility, which includes the Dickinson College Baseball Player’s Clubhouse. Campers will get a real understanding of what it is like to be a Dickinson College Baseball player.

Camp will conclude at the Hare Indoor Training Facility following the hitting circuit and testing with a camp wrap-up from Head Coach Craig Hanson and Assistant Coach Kraigen Rasalla.
